Located on Manganese Point, Headland Farm Park occupies
125 Hectares of the peninsula. It is surrounded by Parua Bay to the East, Pines Golf course to the North and Whangarei Harbour to the East and South. Each of the 82 homesites in Headland Farm Park has magnificent views. Some are on the water’s edge while others are elevated, giving panoramic views of the surrounding areas, including Mount Manaia, Marsden Point, One Tree Point and Whangarei Heads.
While deer were historically raised on the farm, sheep and cattle are currently the mainstay of the farming component. There is a boat jetty and secluded beach on the Parua Bay side with a community barbecue and shaded picnic area enjoyed by all residents of the Farm Park. The 7 acre orchard provides a variety of fruit for the residents of which many participate in its maintenance. 30 Hectares of bush reserve permeate the Park providing natural beauty and a walking track.
